Dafni Petrakaki and George Zervakis are 11%.
They come from Athens, Greece.
Before their design studies, Dafni is dealing
with creativity learning methods for young
children while George completes his studies
as a professional cook and works in this field
for about three years.
They both study Industrial and Product Design
in Athens and get their Bachelor of Art degrees
from Middlesex University, Dafni in 2006
and George in 2005.
While being a student, Dafni takes part in her
first international design competition
''TEEN FURNITURE'' held by DESIGN BOOM
and COW by NSR (2005). After finishing her
studies she works as a product and interior
designer for the company OPEN HOUSE.
When George finishes his studies he works
with greek industrial designers Constantinos
Choursoglou and Sotiris Lazou and collaborates
with Studio777 in projects for L'OREAL, JOSE CUERVO,
DAVIDOFF, JOHNNIE WALKER, VARANGIS SCHEMATA,
MODECO, NEO KATOIKEIN and SKOUROPOULOS.
He then works as a senior designer in
EXPOTECHNICA GROUP and at the same time he teaches
Industrial and Product Design in AKTO,
a department of Middlesex University in Athens.
Dafni and George first team up in 2006, winning
first place in a design contest held by greek
furniture company NEOSET in 2006. Two years
later they are both part of the RnD department
of NEOSET GROUP.
11% are officially formed in 2010.
They start their collaboration with concept
store TR2 and make the decision to split their
time between Athens and Berlin, focusing on their
own projects. They create versatile, simple-form
objects based on usability and surprise.
They participated in exhibitions such as

PLAYTIME (Paris, 2014)
